I agree with the person above! Jessica’s picture has been messed with. I have seen other pictures of her and on the show and she does NOT look that skinny. Shenae looks skinny as well but some people are just born that naturally skinny. It’s messed up that they rag on girls for being too skinny when sometimes they can’t help it. Also how does shenae weigh 10 lbs less than Jessica? Jessica looks like skin and bones! This article is complete bullcrap.

This might sound mean but I don’t have any sympathy for someone who’s anorexic. I understand that it’s a disorder but it’s their own fault for caring so much about what other people think. Especially young Hollywood stars. To go as far as to deprive your body of food just to fit into those size 2 jeans is just ridiculous. If you feel that self concisous about your weight, why don’t you get a gym membership and try eating healthier? But starving yourself? Come on now.

but to respond to one of your split personalities. thats just as bad as saying you don’t have sympathy for people who are obese. “technically” in many cases they got themselves there but it doesn’t mean you should not have sympathy; especially when their self-esteem probably is low and other times when its not even their fault.

One more thing,
anyone who mentioned that anorexia,about it being nasty, it may be but people aren’t anorexic just to be skinny. Theres deeper things to it than that it happened to my sister, and if you dont take the time to look deeper into some peoples problems and just judge right away then your the one with the problem.

In the movie Prom Night, Jessica looked a lot more healthy. I’m pretty sure she was pressured to lose a great deal of weight to be twig-like because she needs to look like a teenager in Beverly Hills, not Atlanta, not Dallas, where bigger is sometimes better…..Beverly Hills: Land of the Scrawnies . She’s going on 22 and her more womanly figure (naturally) would look a little suspicious standing next to real life teenagers on the show. She would stand out way too much. Oh, and the reason she looks way more skinny than Shenae is because she’s 5′8” (that’s 3 inches taller than Jessica). I wish the media would show more variety of body types in these shows. A size 8 or 10 is huge on tv, but there are a lot of young women that size. Being “bigger ” does not mean uglier. It just means bigger. I don’t expect tv to encourage obesity because it just isn’t healthy, but since their encouraging being underweight, they might as well. Both ladies are pretty though.
