&& i dont like the fact get back is her single.

i agree! for one, she’s a great songwriter and i love the elements of her style that she kept in it. not everything has a happy and ending and what not.

“Daydream” was an Avril Lavigne cover. They probably didn’t get the approval to do an official recording of it.
And as for “That’s How You Know”… I think that was strictly for the the Disney Mania CD. =]
i do want to point out that any audio on youtube is not the best quality.
and i will say although some people want it more rock than it is, for one, this is the most rock i have heard from disney aside from jb. and two, i’m pretty sure demi wanted to keep more in the middle because of her fan base. i think she did well with this record, and i’m sure her second will come even more into who she is.
like i said, two of the songs she wrote are two of my faves, and if that’s what she considers ‘dark’ then i think she should definitely run with that. but i don’t think you should judge the quality by this because youtube never does a song justice

i know it just maybe she could’ve joined some other record company, but of course if it wan’t for Disney then she wouldnt be on “As The Bell Rings”, “Camp Rock” and all her other role that made her famous. “Daydream” was an Avril Lavigne cover. They probably didn’t get the approval to do an official recording of it.
And as for “That’s How You Know”… I think that was strictly for the the Disney Mania CD. =]

i do want to point out that any audio on youtube is not the best quality.
and i will say although some people want it more rock than it is, for one, this is the most rock i have heard from disney aside from jb. and two, i’m pretty sure demi wanted to keep more in the middle because of her fan base. i think she did well with this record, and i’m sure her second will come even more into who she is.
like i said, two of the songs she wrote are two of my faves, and if that’s what she considers ‘dark’ then i think she should definitely run with that. but i don’t think you should judge the quality by this because youtube never does a song justice

Wtf? RETARD! The Jonas Brothers helped write alot of her songs on Don’t Forget, so if you heard an essense of JB, ITS BECAUSE JB WROTE IT! Oh, not to mention they PRODUCED IT! So yeah, its sounds a little like JB.
And she’s not a wannabe Jonas! She was always a hardcore rocker, even during her As the Bell Ring days! It just so happens she works with JB!
Also, she is equally as good as JB! They’re both amazing! Okay??!

I LOVE Demi Lovato, but this cd is a little too rock n roll. I loved her in Camp Rock. That’s the type of music she nees to have on her cd, this cd is too rocklike.

to tell you the truth I’m a little dissapointed. I love demi but when she joined Disney it sortta put barriers on her music. I like her other song like Trash, Open, Shadow, and Stronger. Or as she calls it her “darker” music, I really don’t see that music dark. Anyways I’m probably gonna buy it anyway because those are just previews and the real things could be a lot better. So I’m rooting for you still Demi! My favorite songs are On The Line and In The Middle.

i know it just maybe she could’ve joined some other record company, but of course if it wan’t for Disney then she wouldnt be on “As The Bell Rings”, “Camp Rock” and all her other role that made her famous. So really i just dont want to complain anymore because it was Disney that made her famous and known. But i think they need to expose her voice a little more, like how she sang that Kelly Clarkson song. I was like wow because her voice sounded super amazing,but in these songs her voice doesnt seem super amazing, but it still sounds good.
