i’m sure my post is one of those “TL:DR” posts but whatever i’m going to get this off my chest:
there is a different between Demi’s “sluttiness” and Miley’s “sluttiness.” Miley made those mistakes during her stardom. looking at how old she looked in her pics, by that time she already had a solid career, fandom, etc etc. people are harsher about her because well .. she IS the star of Disney. it was a dumb move on her part. taking pictures with ANYTHING that can connect to the internet (aka EVERYTHING) can and will spread. i mean, you can seriously delete everything in your computer right now and someone WILL be able retrieve parts of it back.
While in Demi’s case, everything was before she made it with Disney. two years before, in fact. can you honestly say that your personality haven’t changed at all in the last two years? if that “~*seductive*~ video was taken recently, i, myself would have lost some respect for Demi. it has happened to me before with other singers/bands (McFly to be specific). i have lost a little respect for them but i still love them. but the thing is with Demi, it was before she was even “famous”, she was just another teenager. she must have realized that she needed to change her ways once she became a Disney star because she IS different now.

To the people calling Demi fake… I don’t really understand how she became fake..? Most teenage girls act like Demi and Marissa. You only see the career side of Demi, not her personal life. that has to be said. some people make really fast judgments on REALLY old comments.
i used to leave my best friend comments about how much i dislike tyra banks. i cussed a couple times in a lot of comments and i’ve said some really odd things (i can’t even remember what they were about).
it’s weird to think that if i got famous some time this year, people would randomly dislike me ’cause of them. i don’t really hate tyra banks anymore (haha) and i actually don’t curse as much now that i’m older. but yah… that wouldn’t matter, would it?
demi lovato’s cd is one of the best this year. give this girl some damn credit that she definitely deserves. =D

I honestly don’t care about how she talked to her friends back then. It was 2 years ago and I talked like that when I was younger too. Now I’m older and I stopped, but you can’t hold her against what she was like when she was younger. Everyone changes as they grow older.
The only comment that I care about is the one where marissa talked about selena. That was horrible, in my opinion. I don’t know what was going on or whether it was a joke or not, but it does seem rude to say that when your best friend is going to her other best friend’s birthday party. And I HOPE demi responded back and defended selena. It doesn’t have to be like all “omg! I can’t believe you said that about selena! you’re horrible..blah blah blah”. As long as she just says something along the line of “ahha. dont say that. selena is awesome!” then it’s fine. Cause if she didn’t, then what the heck?? Selena has been an awesome best friend to demi, and I hope demi can at least pay back by defending her a little. I mean, honestly! That girl dropped out of school just to accompany demi so she wouldn’t be by herself ’cause she didn’t have any friends!
So, if you guys added Marissa, then can you see what Demi’s comment back to Marissa was after that selena thing? That’s the only one that matters ’cause it’d be the only one to show who Demi really is back then..
